understand business needs

technology innovations. Prior to Connecture, David was Senior Manager at Ernst & Young's Health Care Strategy Group focusing on the health insurance sector. As Chief Revenue Officer at Connecture, David oversees the sales process for the InsureAdvantage, StateAdvantage, and BrokerAdvantage product lines.
Bob Barry
Senior Vice President of Product and Market Strategy
At Connecture, Bob is responsible for identifying market needs that InsureAdvantage solutions can serve. He began working in the insurance technology industry in 1998 and has over 26 years of experience in the health and life insurance industry. He understands the challenges health plans face, particularly in automating their sales processes as well as reaching out to brokers, prospects, and members to complete business online, and has been helping provide solutions for over 10 years.
Jerry Furness
Vice President of Strategic Solutions
Jerry brings over 12 years of both business and technical management experience in the health insurance industry. Jerry has a broad background of strategic implementations of packaged software, and has worked with some of the largest Fortune 500 companies in the United States on their enterprise software installations. Prior to working for Connecture, Jerry was in management at Workscape, a HR software provider, leading the implementations of self-service applications and enterprise portals.
Joe Feeney
Vice President, Sales
Joe has 17 years experience in the health care industry. Prior to Connecture, Joe was the Director of Health Payer Consulting Practice at Perot Systems Corporation and also spent 13 years at Accenture. His career has been focused on the health insurance industry, and he has a deep understanding of business processes and technology within health plans.
In his current role, Joe splits his time between working with prospective clients and caring for current clients. With prospective clients, Joe works to understand their business challenges and growth objectives. He then works with Connecture experts to scope the project and budget, and negotiates terms and scope through the final contract closure. With current clients, Joe oversees the entire client relationship and helps to ensure the success of implementation and upgrades of the InsureAdvantage solution. Finally he brings best practices and ideas from across the industry to his clients.
Vince Silvaer
Vice President, Sales
Vince joined Connecture’s predecessor Riverwood Solutions in July 2003 as their National Sales Director. Vince is an accomplished software sales specialist possessing over 17 years of software sales experience helping leading organizations through complex, political, multi-point influence, and often seven figure plus acquisitions of enterprise application software solutions.
In his current role, Vince works with our strategic and key accounts in their evaluation and selection of Connecture solutions and acts as client advocate in his account management activities. Additional priorities include forging stronger and closer alliances with senior executives and industry leaders, focusing on business challenges and growth objectives.
Paul Ulerick
Sales Director
Paul has 20 years experience in the health care industry, and prior to Connecture, was the Director of Provider Sales at Thomson Medstat. He has 29 years experience selling technology solutions and has managed business-to-business sales and marketing groups throughout most of his career.
As a Sales Director he works with prospective leads to determine how their challenges, producer and member relations, service standards, risk assessments, retention, and growth objectives can be solved with InsureAdvantage solutions. Paul is also responsible for working with Connecture and client implementation teams to ensure on-time, on-budget implementations of the InsureAdvantage solution.
Deb Stephens
Sales Director
Deb has over 25 years of experience in health care sales with more than 10 years experience selling sales automation technologies. Her track record of success stands as a testament to the valuable and lasting relationships she forms with clients. Her diverse background in strategic planning and sales processes makes Deb an essential member of the Connecture team.
As a Sales Director at Connecture, Deb works with prospective leads to determine how Connecture technologies can alleviate a health plan’s current challenges and assist them in reaching their future goals. By understanding a client’s unique needs, Deb is able to focus on the strategic value that Connecture has to offer each individual plan.
